Warehouse Terminology

• New Orders: Approved orders waiting for warehouse loading.
• Loading: The stage where the warehouse starts preparing goods for dispatch. The underlying stage value is packing.
• Dispatch: The process of releasing selected quantities from the warehouse with a dispatch challan.
• Out for Delivery: The stage after dispatch while goods are in transit.
• Delivered: The stage after the shipment has been marked delivered.
• Fulfilled: The final warehouse stage after signed challan completion.
• Partially Fulfilled: The stage when only part of an order has been dispatched or fulfilled and quantity remains pending.
• Order Line: A product-level row inside an order.
• Available Quantity: Quantity currently available for fulfillment.
• Pending Quantity: Quantity still remaining after dispatch or partial fulfill.
• Challan: Delivery receipt or shipment document attached during dispatch.
• Signed Challan: Proof uploaded after delivery to complete fulfillment.
• Warehouse Location Mapping: Location-to-warehouse routing used to assign approved orders to the right warehouse.
